Deep Texas Roots
A native Texan from Houston, Bennett's family lineage traces back to the Texas Revolution. He and his wife Victoria have made Hempstead their home, where they are raising their dog Atlas and building deep roots in the Waller County community.

Throughout his career as a prosecutor, Bennett has:
- Served under two District Attorneys handling juveniles, civil matters, and criminal cases
- Developed expertise in family law and child protection
- Championed victim advocacy, especially for the most vulnerable
